27th august 2025
12noon – 1.30pm

Before your client makes the decision to split from her partner – she will need to know her financial position and how the split will likely impact her and her family. She will need to talk to professionals and start building her team.
Depending on the complexities of her position – she will need at minimum a lawyer and a financial adviser and then perhaps a forensic accountant.
Questions to cover:
What does a forensic accountant do and why would you need one?
Which professional is approached first and how do they work with each other?
The client is most likely to see an adviser or lawyer in the first instance, when might you bring in an accountant?
Can you give examples of advice you may give clients at this stage of their journey – financial and other?
The session will see a panel of four incredible speakers – Dominique Bergel-Grant, a divorce coach and mediator; Suzanne Delbridge, forensic accountant, Cathryn Gross, financial adviser, and Susan Warda, lawyer.
